Unlike most bidet toilet seat and toilet combinations, the Drake® Washlet+® series is designed so that all hoses and connections are concealed. No need to worry about whether the Washlet will fit your toilet. You get a perfect Washlet fit and a beautiful modern streamlined look in your bathroom.
What sets Toto apart from all other brands is their ewater+® technology. By electrolysing the water and using the Premist™ feature, which sprays the bowl with water before each use, the Drake Washlet+ S550e leaves no build-up and the toilet bowl stays much cleaner. This eliminates the need for harsh cleaning chemicals, that are harmful to us and the environment when they are introduced into our water systems. Toto's ewater+® is completely safe yet powerful. TOTO® Washlet® S550e has a clean, modern look and the lid automatically opens when you approach and closes when you walk away. The sensors have been dialled -in so that the lid only opens when you want it to. You can also disable this feature and use the remote instead.
The LED nightlight is soft and welcoming during those nightly visits to the bathroom. Very impressive for guests! The remote is dual-sided and touch sensitive. It is intuitive and comes with a wall-mount. The aerated stream from the nozzle can be adjusted to be soft or strong, depending on your preference.
The TOTO® Washlet® S550e uses an on-demand tankless water heating system so that there is always plenty of warm water. The TOTO® Washlet® S550e has a dryer that is very effective compared to most others on the market.
TOTO’s extraordinarily smooth CEFIONTECT® glaze prevents particulates from adhering to porous, ceramic surfaces. The ion-barrier in CEFIONTECT keeps everything cleaner, longer. Less cleaning means fewer chemicals in the environment and less water and energy used for cleaning.
The TORNADO FLUSH® features two powerful nozzles that create a centrifugal, cyclonic rinsing action which reduces waste buildup and keeps the bowl cleaner. This high-efficiency system is more effective in one flush than most toilets are with multiple flushes. The modern hole-free rim design means that it performs more consistently and is easy to clean.

The TOTO® DRAKE® WASHLET®+ S550E requires electricity.
For electric bidet toilets models where there is not an outlet nearby, a licensed electrician should be used to install one.
We recommend a dedicated 20amp GFI circuit be used, and local codes followed. Periodic maintenance and inspection of the unit is required.
Hoses and all connections should be checked frequently.
This unit must be protected from freezing, and if not used for extended periods, it should be disconnected. Please contact us with any specific questions you may have.
